None other than Virginia Wacko of the Month a.k.a. Governor Robert McDonnell(R) He said he proclaimed Confederate History Month because he thought it would be a draw for visitors. Hmmm, let's see, visitors to Virginia would like to celebrate the fact that Virginia wanted to KEEP slavery, that's right, continue to own human beings who they felt were sub-human because of the color of their skin, and they were willing to go to war to keep this right.
When Mr. McRacistDonnell found that it caused an uproar from all those liberals commies up North, he said, well, yes, of course, there was the slave thing and all, but that wasn't the reason we fought the war. Really? Enlighten us pal, what was the reason then? Or are you going the way of Texas and writing your own whitey, racist, biased, history books?
